Mar 31 2008, 5:39 PM EDT One cool and creepy thing in Australia are these really giant termite's nests that look sort of like the dribble sand castles kids make at the beach (only on a huge scale)! I have a pillar in the middle of my children's room that I'm going to build a termite's nest against. I'll use carpet tubes of various lengths as the armature, and then cover them loosely with brown craft paper. (I love hot glue!) I'm going to leave an opening for kids to reach into...Eeuww! They are going to love it! 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 23 2008, 4:10 PM EDT two decorating ideas -- make animals out of styrofoam sheets (available at building suppy centers) and cut them with a jigsaw. Paint and you have light animals that are easy to hang or prop up on a bookcase. You can use an overhead projector to make the image large. Also painting on paper adhered to cardboard is also a nice result. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
